I'm Back..
Hello all, I just got back last night,
I was staying with my Aunt kids and kids:):)
Took a few pics of course and will post them later tonight.
I had left a cloth in a small steel cylinder ( tube )
I rolled it up put some thin steel wire then scrunched
it down as far as I could. Soaked it in vinegar,
poured out excess and left it for when I would get back.
Its about 19in x 12in. I love the detail..
I owe Luci and you all story..
All That Glitters
I went to spend a day with my BF Tonniece.
I first met her at the hospital where she was
having test done for her feet and legs..
Poor Tonniece her legs and feet keep swelling
she can hardly walk and she is a medical
MYSTERY they don't have a clue yet what is wrong.
It started with her knee getting fixed and its been
down hill since. Two years its been now, but I think
some one was telling her she had to make a change in her life.
To do new things in her life, do what she was meant to do.
She is now a true artist again creating beautiful things..
We went over to her house after, she was having trouble
with her embossing. So I said I would help her( snicker, I do try to help)
We set every thing up on her coffee table which is where she does her art,
in her front room. She definitely needs a room just for creating..
When I opened up her jars I notice her's was different.
So we tried them they aren't as thick, mine are tiny beads, hers
is much finer like glitter...
When I work with mine on my hugh table I sprinkle it on and place the lid on
( not screwed on) then, take the lid off and pour what left over back in..
tonniece tried to help me and grabbed jar ooooooops lid not on
oh oh!! All over the table, sorry sorry I said, sweet tonniece no problem she say.
So we scrap as much as we could back in the jar..
I tried another stamp poured powder on it, Left the lid on lighly again.
Tonniece helping again grabs the jar. OH OH now its all over her foot,
all over the carpet... Damn, sorry, I'm really sorry, but it looked so
prrreeeeettttty...............
all that sparkling red. Now were laughing, I'm telling her lift your
foot and you can shake
it off on a paper, trying to save what we could...
Tonniece is bending down trying to get what she can on the floor.
There's me trying to get it off the coffee table, swiping in on a paper.
Tonnieces head table level.
PHOOF it goes in her face up her noses..
By now we are almost blubbering idiots, but we look soooo prrreeettty, all sparlkey shining.
The only place it wasn't was in the corners..
We got up as much as we could, it looked like a magical place,
fairy dust everywhere..
We figured we might as well go out, maybe a night club,
we were all sparkling, all decked out..
We waited till the sun went down for her to drive me home,
we didn't want to blind the other drivers.
We had a belly fulls of laughs, it was the best medicine we could have had
we love to laugh it was a great day with my best shining friend :):):)
More pics later.....

Hey Dianne
That was still pretty condensed, but It's still funny. And by the way, my house is still sparkleing. No matter how much I vacuum or sweep up, it just shines and glows, and twinkles. LOL
I had a great day with you though.
We should do it again real soon.
Love Ya
Tonniece
Dear Dianne,
I'm so glad you wrote about your sparkling experience with Tonniece. I've been checking your blog faithfully for the story. When you posted, I was so happy. What you and Tonniece did was very funny. I couldn't stop giggling whenever I imagined both of you all wrapped in your glittery glory! I wonder whether your story has something to do with the appearance of two pixies who were crazy about glitters in my dream last night ;) One of them had a curly red hair ... hmmm ...
