Frank carved the Hugh pumpkin, it must

to touch it they didn't think it was real..
the can beside it was full of candies..

The guy next door took one on his nice camera
and it turned out perfect. Maybe my camera
needs new batteries. Geesss who knows.

These are going on Jan's gift. I used some of Sue's
metal and some of the metal Jan gave me to
create the little faeries. They are not easy to paint
because they are very small, one is about 2in"
the other about 1 1/2in" so the faces are quite
small. I'll finish the whole thing and post it
when its done. I also have one of Sues gifts done
but can't show that. I'm working on Christmas
gifts now.........

Sue and I went down to Shielas house to give her
her birthday gifts. She is looking at all the stuff
Sue gave her, a basket full of art supplies..
Posted by Picasa

Here she is with the gifts I gave her and
showing off the card I made her, its covered in
pics of Scotland from the Peoples Friend magazine.
Posted by Picasa

Look at that beautiful smile, she really is the
sweetest person I know and I have been
lucky enough to had her as my friend since
we were teenagers. Not sure how many years
that is LOL..

Look at the lovely shadow box Shiela made.
She painted the background and used some
of Sue's metal for the mountains in the background.
She is getting so good with her art..

I had to put a pic of all the fabulous stuff my Ladies
sent me. I covered the cost of shipping and ask for
goodies instead. These are fantastic, I love them.
These gorgeous materials, hand dyed and silks,
some threads, beads and raw felt, silk cocoon wrappings.
A couple of great books, a couple of zines which I know
now what they are all about and they are great.
An altered clay pot for my special pens, handmade
needle holder. A fabric pin, and a handmade blank
card. A really awesome polymer clay ATC.
The fantastic Chinese ink set with lots of colors.
Thanks so much to all my swap partners
for these wonderful goodies..
