TRANSFER PAINT

I got the old iron out and had some fun, using fancy bags,
I don't think they sell them here, got mine in England.
So did a few bags and also ironed on a new motife with the transfer paint,
its great because you really don't know what it will look like till its done.

I love how this came out using transfer paint and a motif.... Posted by Picasa

I used transfer paint on this one, I really like how it turned out, might use this for a dolls dress... Posted by Picasa

This was a paper bag, words were writting backwords, so words came out the right way, just not to dark... Posted by Picasa

This one turned out yucky, first used a bag, then added some transfer paint... Posted by Picasa

I hope this works I bought a plaster cross at the thrift store it was quite large and with beautiful scroll on it, I broke it apart and made a frame and have a small cross. I mounted them and really hope these make fab stamps. I'll try them tomorrow.... Posted by Picasa

Mounted the stamps I made from clay, now I can use them... Had a pair of earrings I thought I could use for stamps so mounted them too. Posted by Picasa

I finally tried making paper, now I know how I want to make it, what not to use... I'll experiment more tomorrow, hehe you finally get to see my busy work area set up in my living room, crowded in here... Posted by Picasa

Finally I finished it. When I went to put the box together I realized the frame was just raw wood. Now what to do... So I took out my soldering and burning gun. I just put some design on it, varnished it and Tada its done.. Posted by Picasa

I got the shadow box done last night, I put spray glaze on it,
so when it dries I'll put it together and take a pic..
I got out my soldering gun, experimented with a
lot of different felts and materials, only 2 of them cut nicely
and wasn't to toxic.. I'll play with it again tomorrow...
Did some painting and stamping after, pics below..

Woke up to a lovely rainy day,
headed out to St. Jacobs to visit the Market just outside of Cambridge
Ont.. Didn't keep anyone away, place was packed.
They have 2 indoor buildings and an outside for fruit and vegs.
It was a lovely drive on the small hyways.. Mist all over the fields
eveything was so green.. Made me feel like I was in England, well I can imagine..
Got few good pics, for my DS in the real Cambridge UK...
