RANGERS INK

I bought some rangers ink on line real cheap.
Thought I could use it for mixing it on water
color paper, I love to do that..
I do like how it went on the paper towels
the best..

This is how your suppose to use the ink and sponge
on a semigloss paper, might look better cut up, LOL..

The ink didn't disperse like it should have must be the kind of ink..

The ink went a lot better on the paper towel
I laid under the water color paper..

FINISHED MY BOOK PURSE

Woo hoo finally done. Well can you see my big
mistake . The handles go from one side to the other
instead of them attaching on the same side.
I used a long gold plated chain I had and didn't notice
how they went till it was all done. Well I don't think
it will be used as a real purse anyway. We can only
learn from our mistakes.. I like how it turned out
mistakes and all....

I added little feet. I only saw this on 1 of the
purses, love the idea and they are so cute.

I had to add copper nail polish to fix the clasp after
I fixed it shesh...

I used an old bracelet for the closure. I first did it to big.
I had to remove them, of course it took off the paint.
It now fits better...

The inside I added a pocket. I cut out pieces
of cardboard and glued material on them. It
was to reinforce the side more and covers up
the handles so you don't see them.. Oopps
well you can see it on one side on the close up..

Sides of the purse, I searched a lot for the way to
make the purse, and the side panels were all
a triangle with a squared bottom and top.
This didn't work to good for me, I think you should
make the bottom part to fit but make some seam
allowance to make to fit properly. I had to snip
it at the bottom to make it fit, it them had little holes
so I added some beads to cover the little holes..
I added a left over piece of my fabric page Lily
to add some contrast to the side..

PROGRESS ON MY BOOK PURSE

I first put 3 layers of Golden's burnt sienna,
then 2 layers of Golden's quinacridone nickel azo gold.
The last layer I mixed some copper Perlex in it,
you know me have to have a bit of shiny LOL.
I traced a stain glass pic of the fairy.
I used my hot tool to carve it out.
Used liquid gold leaf to outline it,
then used 3 layer of my shinny acrylics to color
it in..Outside is finished now for the inside...

I have taken a break, I have lots of room to work
and I do need to do some art work,
I also got a lovely old pine desk for my computer.
Just notice, I have my blog on my computer
on my blog .
I can just roll my comfy chair from my computer across the room
to my art desk. It feels huge and bright in here I love it.
