This is the bottom of the hill up to the fireplace.
You have to go across the property to the other
side of the cottage where here door is.
A long jaunt to carry those large pots..

Behind that wooden cupboard is a brick fireplace
that my Dad biult years ago. My Mom and Dad
rented this cottage for the summer off of the person
who finally sold it to my sister..
When they had the tornado last year and no hydro
for 5 days my sister used it to cook all the meat in
hers and her daughter cottage next door.
She had to boil all her water up there.
It quit a jaunt from her cottage door to the fireplace
with big pots of water. Lets not forget she fills her 15
hummingbird feeder twice a day with boiled sugar water.
I don't know how she did it...

Look at these 2 beauties. We are going back there
some time in the first 2 weeks of August after our
family reunion. So you know I'm bringing some
white cotton the wrap around these. The rusting
will be stunning, I can't wait to see it...

This little guy was always sitting on the basket.
He has a nest above the light at the side of the
cottage. His home is in the next pic .

Here is the nest the bird lives in. The babys flew
out the week before we got there..

Love this shot with the raindrops on the table..

Well I got 3 of them in the pic some. times
there are 5 of them at the 2 feeders.
They fight so much thinking the feeder is theirs
and they move so fast it hard to get them all
in the pic at the same time..

Last one, on the way home in all the swamps
thousands of Lilly pads with their beautiful flowers
I would have loved to get a handful of them..

NEW DECORATED TREASURE BOOK

The front, I tried to paint the sides
to match the top, it wasn't easy
and doesn't match perfectly..
Posted by Picasa

The side..

Posted by Picasa

The inside, I covered the sides with
gold lame and some hand made
paper on the bottom..

Posted by Picasa

Here's me taking a pic of the top.
I had some slivers of paper from
the poured ink I made, so they fit
right in the top part. I attempted
to color the sides the same:):)

I had to show the food that was amasing.
They had the dinner ordered in. Salads wrapper,
spring rolls, salads and all kinds of meat kabos..
The Chef sets it all up including dishes.
They come back and take it all away.
Now thats how to do food at a party,
no cooking or dishes after:):)

Its Canada weekend, so Shiela and I went to the
It's Your Festival at Gage Park to see a friend of mine play

The have food from around the world, music at different
parts of the park. This is the big Band Shell for the bigger acts.
All the local artist have booths selling their art.
I got to see lots of people I hadn't seen for years.
The weather has cooled off still hot but our humidity
is gone thank goodness I so I could go.
We had a great time...
