Well I went to England and had a fabulous time,
Went around a lot on the bus, went for walks everyday.
Had some great dinner, tons of laughs, froze my ass off:):)..
It rained almost everyday and I loved it, seen all
the fields fill in with grass, met some lovely,
funny, very nice people, got to spend a lot of
time with Sandy just chilling it was fantastic..
These are some of my favorite pics, have more

Well we Tonniece, Sue & Sheila are getting together
every third weekend and doing cards. We have sketches
to follow and are doing one card a week.

Well on Saturday we (tonniece, Sue,
Sheila and I) came to my place and exchanged
Christmas gifts. We did it later cause Tonniece
had so may cards to make for us all. It was better
by making Feb a much better month not a blue one:).
The cards she made were just absolutely stunning, I must
say. I think she makes the beautiful cards around. I just
love, love, love them. I just had to share them.
Aren't they so speciallllll.

KLEENEX BOX

I had a heck of a time doing this
one. I had stamped the top, then
when I stamped the sides I messed
it up. So I had to paint it white where
I had stamped. Then I put a layer of
torn green and purple tissue, still didn't
like the look. So I stamped on another
piece of tissue and added that. Then I
glued some glitter. So I guess its finished
now. This is for Tonnieces Mom.....

I used a cigar box and decorated it with the same
wallpaper to make it match..

I used some wallpaper I had to do the front side.
I cut out some fancy letters and used some inked
paper for the background. I used chop sticks for the
legs and added some beads on top, Stamped a few
images. I used a simmer mist on the pages so the pics
had a glare on them..

I made this wreath for my friend Jan,
again not a good pic can't see the colors
to great. I painted the pieces different
greens. So this is my favorite one since
green is my favorite color and I loved
the red crab apples.

FINALLY HAVING SURGERY

Thought I'd let you know whats finally happening.
After all the test the surgeon says its the netting
I had from a old (10yrs) hernia operation and this is
what is causing all the infection. Sooo he is going to have
to open me up and do a lot of digging to get it out, then
they will have to leave me open to heal. This means
having nurses in twice a day to change the packing.
I went through this after the hernia operation. It will
take up to at least 3 months for me to heal hopefully.
I am going to cut off my Internet service, since I'll be
on my back in bed. Sooo when I'm well enough to get
back to art ans sit at the computer I'LL BE BACK.
I miss you all sooooo much and will be thinking aof all
my friends on line. I'll be looking forward to seeing
every ones blog and all the fabulous work..

I have been for 3 test and now have to wait
for a consultation with the specialist in the
23 of this month. I still have good days and bad.
I have been doing a little bit of art and went and
and had a great day with my friends Tonniece and
Sheila. I can function when I take my pain pills
but since they are narcotics I only take them when
I have to go out and do something. I don't like to take them
other wises...

FUN CRAFT DAY AT TONNIECE'S

Last Saturday Sheila and I went to Tonniece's house
for a afternoon of some paper art.
We had some much fun and barrel full 'of laughs.
Some yummy salads too....
This is the box I made, lots of scoring cutting and
folding but worth it. They turned out beautiful.
Pics could have been better, the colors on the inside
box's are washed out. I was glad we got any though.

PAPER BABY SHOES

I printed out these baby shoes from Quietfire site
on white card stock. Inked them with my distressed
ink, punched out some tiny dragonflies. I stamped and
embossed them, added a brad and a flower.
They turned out so DARN cute...

These are Sheila's shoes she drew and colored hers
with pencil cayrons and shimmer stuff. Cute little
tiny round brads and a flower. I can't wait to see
Tonnices, she is going to make her with her
granddaughter......

INK AND SHIMMER

I bought 25 of Tim Holtz distressed inks, I love them.
I first put some ink on the freezer paper and spritz some
water over it. Then swirled the card stock in it.
No pics of this but I wasn't happy with the results at all.
Then I put some butterscotch rangers ink and water in
a small water bottle, added some pearl X.
I sprintz all the papers with it and" valla" they turned
out gorgeous, hard to see them shimmer but its there.
I stamped the bottom two, the one on the right hand
side has only the sprayed shimmer.

appointment to see a specialist.
I've been getting awfully depressed
being sick since the beginning of this
year. Maybe now they can fix me
up and I can start living again :):).

Made this for my DS Martha my oldest and sweetest Sis..
I used some inked paper I made for
background. I visited Tonniece http://tonyzworldofart.blogspot.com/
She has a lovely array of punches so I used a bunch
of her scrap paper to use them..
It's not exactly straight but that's me a little off LOL..
I also made her a round wooden box I decorated to
use as a sewing box, she does quilting.
Sadly I didn't get a pick of it maybe another day ...

Well got my cat scan now waiting for specialist
app.
Cloth Paper Scissors is having a charm swap,
so since I have a lot of these pieces I thought I'd
make a few and swap some. Then I will have enough
for a bracelet. They are almost the same as the ones
I made before but with no beads, I like them better just
plain. I took me a long time to do them but finally finished
and even got them posted.......

Hey All
Life still the same getting bored out of my mind.
Good news is I finally have a appt. for a cat scan
on March 17th LOL St Patty's day, should I ware
green...............
Hopefully after that they will be able to schedule
the operation to fix me up.
I miss visiting and seeing all my creative friends.

I want to thank ever one for there well wishes.
I'm still not any better, They took me off the antibiotics
an I'm now waiting to get a cat scan at the hospital. No idea
how long that will take. I'm still on liquids no solid food,
good way to lose weight LOL..
Stay in bed most of the time hurts to sit to long..
I miss every one so much, thanks again ,I try to
keep you all up to whats going on....

I thought I would let everyone know I have been sick
since second week of Dec.. First with a deadly chest cold
then had the flue. I thought I had ripped my hernia with
all the coughing. I went to the ER, they said I have an infection
gave me antibiotics. I can only have liquids or I'm in a lot
of pain. The antibiotics will be finish tomorrow, but I still
am having the same problem. So I will have to see the doctor
on Mon. I'm pretty sure they will have to do some kind of
exploratory operation to see what is going on inside of me.
It really hurts to sit which is why I can't stay on the computer
too long. I miss seeing all my friends blogs and to see what everyone
is creating... Hopefully will know better next week what is going
on. I'll post and let you all know.. Thanks to all who were thinking
of me...

boy or girl, but named it Shatan.. I fell in love
with these horse when I saw them on Daniella

She has a few and draws them too. So I google
imaged Dartmoor's ponies and found this beauty
and have her on my desk top. I named her after
The Black which is my favorite movie, I love to
look at her all day.... I'm in love :):)..

I had these done last week just got around to posting
them. I used some of the homemade paper from
Java, I had purchased at a second hand shop.
I used 5 signatures in all the journals which
would give them 50 pages each. The sewing
kills my carpo tunnel but its worth it...

Right from the name of her blog I was hooked.
She lives in Dartmoor England on a farm with
her family. She raises these wonderful
Dartmoor ponies, with their long manes they
mystical, they are gorgeous. She also is a
fabulous painter. Painting her pony's,unicorns
faeries, and crows. She also helps her sister
with sewing beautiful clothes for kids..
Its a magical place where her and her family live.
After I read her whole blog, I was blown away.
I loved her work so much I got on ebay and ordered
4 of her Aceo's right away. She was so nice and
actually sent me an extra larger print
(the pic above) and no postage if you order more
then 1 print. The aceo's only cost $7:50.
Imagine that for the beautiful works of art.
I'm a lucky girl to be the proud owner of
some of her work..

I got the pics from an advert for our
home town newspaper. I love the photos
and glad I could use them.. I used the sequin
hole ribbon ( can't remeber the name for these)
used a red stamp pad over the whole pic...

COVERING FOR MY WINDOW

Well I thought it would be great with nothing
covering my window BUT when the sun was
shinning it was around 98 degrees and I was
getting sunburn, really stop laughing.
So I moved everything around and put 2 fans
up, these help a lot for some shade...
As you see my table is very busy, my friend
got me a Hugh sketch pad, like 18"x24",
24 sheets, 80lb. So I cut up all the papers
to make into 4 journals 2 large ones and 2 small
ones. I have put all the holes in for stitching.
Now I have to make covers and sew them together.
Will post them when I'm done..

Grace exists inside of all of us and around us. It is our inner beauty that radiates outward, touching everyone we meet.
It is that unseen hand that comes from the divine, raising us up when we most need it.
To be able to live in a state of grace is not based on worthiness, nor is it earned through good deeds, ritual, or sacrifice.
Rather it is an unearned favor, freely bestowed and available to all, that is inherent to our birthright.
All we must do is open our eyes to its presence and we will find and experience grace everywhere. Grace is in the rain bringing relief to drought-ridden farms, and the unexpected lead for the perfect job opportunity that comes from a stranger.
Grace is what happens to someone when they miraculously escape injury; it is even the simple events that happen to us that we call “good luck,” like when we don’t get a parking ticket after are meter has expired.
Grace resides in the love between two people, the gift or check that comes unexpectedly in the mail, the cozy comforts that make up a home, and in the acts of forgiveness we bestow upon others.
It is grace that moves us to go out of our way to help a stranger. In music, a grace note is the pause between notes that is so important to the pacing of a song.
